Ayer empezó un nuevo reto en My Time To Craft, un reto muy especial porque es el número 500 y eso en estos tiempos donde parece que los blogs son algo pasado de moda es mucho. Y ¿cuál era el mejor tema para celebrarlo? Como os estáis imaginando por el nombre de la entrada y mi página de art journal: es números.

Yesterday it started a new challenge on My Time To Craft, and it's a very special challenge because it is the number 500 and that is a lot in these times where it seems that blogs are something untrendy. And what was the best theme to celebrate it?As you're supposing for the name of my post and my art journal page: it's numbers.

A Place To Start April 2022

Que nuevo reto  más interesante el de este mes en A Place To Start, hay que usar una llave o un candado y una llave. Aunque no os preocupéis que también tenéis este mes la opción de todo vale.

This month's challenge on A Place To Start is very interesting, it's key it simple, you have to incorporate a key or a lock and a key into your project. Although don't worry because you also have this month the option of anything goes.

I Am No Bird

Hacía tiempo que no publicaba una página de mi diario artístico, así que he pensado que hoy era un día perfecto para hacerlo. Creo que es uno de los proyectos donde más he usado más plantillas, me encantan todas las capas y texturas que puedes crear con ellas.

I didn't publish a page from my art journal a time ago, so I've thought today was a perfect day to do. I think this is one of the projects where I've used more stencils, I love all the layers and textures you can create with them.

Words. Words. Words.

Después de unas cuantas tarjetas en las últimas entradas os enseño una página de mi diario artístico llena de color y contraste. Con cada página me siento más cómoda y eso me ayuda a jugar más con mi material y mis dibujos.

After a few cards in my last posts I show you a page of my art journal full of colour and contrast. I feel more comfortable with every page and that helps me to play more with my stuff and my drawings.

Etude des Portraits

Cuando empecé a trabajar en estas páginas no pensé que al final incluiría dos de mis dibujos en ellas, simplemente hice como otras veces, preparar el fondo y jugar con mis plantillas.

When I started to work on these pages I never thought at the end I would include two of my drawings on them, I simply did as other times, to start to prepare the background and to play with my stencils.

Hace unos meses que encontré a este conejito en la web de The Graphics Fairy y todavía no había hecho nada con él, con lo mono que es necesitaba ser el protagonista de uno de mis proyectos, y aquí por fin está.

I found this bunny a few months ago in The Graphics Fairy's website and I hadn't still made anything with him, being so cute it needed to be the star of one of my projects, and here it's finally.

Mini Tarjeta - Mini Card

Creo que esta es la tarjeta más pequeña que he hecho hasta la fecha, tenía un trozo de cartulina de 15x9cm y en vez de utilizarlo en un proyecto mayor he creado una tarjeta de 7,5x9cm, y como veis no le falta detalle.

I think this is the littlest card I've made until now, I got a piece of cardboard of 15x9cm and instead of using it in a bigger project I've created a card of 7,5x9cm, and as you see it's full of details.

Ya llevamos unos cuantos días de verano y creo que tocaba hacer algo inspirada por esta época del año, así que he hecho este tag con esta preciosa sirena, que es uno de los sellos que gané gracias a uno de los retos de Colouring in Scrapland y a su autora María Medel Illustrations.

This Summer started a few days ago and I think it was time to make something inspired by this time of the year, so I've made this tag with this beautiful mermaid, that is one of the stamps I won thanks to one of the Colouring in Scrapland's challenges and her designer María Medel Illustrations.

Tengo que decir que este tag ha surgido a partir de dos retos y que encima una vez acabado me vale para un tercero, creo que ya he dicho antes que si hago retos es porque no quiero hacer siempre lo mismo, me ayudan a mejorar y aprendo un montón, ahora os explico que es lo que tiene el tag para poder participar en cada uno de ellos.

Esta página refleja muy bien una de mis pasiones los libros, me encanta leer y el olor a libro nuevo, si soy de las que todavía leen libros en papel jejeje, así que como os podéis imaginar cuando vi a esta maravillosa dama en la web The Old Desing Shop tenía que usarla en mi diario artístico.

This page shows very well one of my passions books, I love reading and the smell of a new book, yeah! I'm one of these people who still read paper books hehehe, so as you can imagine when I saw this wonderful lady at the website The Old Desing Shop I had to use it in my art journal.

The Fairies Dance

Cuando empecé a trabajar en estas dos páginas no tenía ni idea que acabaría haciendo algo tan colorido y lleno de flores, cuando terminé el fondo me encantaba pero sentía que le faltaba algo, y entonces vi estas maravillosas hadas en la galería de fotos de la British Library y supe que eran lo que necesitaba.

When I started to work in these two pages I didn't think I would make something so colourful and full of flowers, when I finished the background I loved it but I felt it needed something more, and then I saw these wonderful fairies in the gallery of the British Library and I knew they were what I needed.

In Full Bloom

Marzo es un mes especial para mí, los días son más largos, hace una temperatura ideal y empiezan a salir las primeras flores, todo esto ha inspirado las páginas de mi diario, como veis están llenas de vida.

March is a special month for me, days are longer, we have a perfect temperature and flowers start to bloom, all these things have inspired the pages of my journal, as you see they are full of life.
