A Place To Start April 2025

Mañana empieza un nuevo reto en A Place To Start y el tema es negro, blanco y rojo, aunque también tenéis la opción de todo vale como siempre. En mi caso, con esa idea en mente, he hecho esta página de mi diario artístico.

Tomorrow a new challenge starts on A Place To Start and the theme is black, white and red, although you also have the option of anything goes as always. In my case, I've made this page of my art journal with that topic.

My Time To Craft #492 Geometrics

Un nuevo reto ha empezado en My Time To Craft, formas geométricas: cuadrados, círculos, triángulos... Un montón de posibilidades y aquí estoy yo con mi tarjeta geométrica y además también es perfecta para Halloween.

A new challenge has started on My Time To Craft, geometrics: squares, circles, triangles... A lot of possibilities and here I'm with my geometric card and it's also perfect for Halloween.

He de admitir que la idea me la dio Becca, que es la encargada de coordinar los retos en el blog y siempre da muy buenas alternativas para jugar con el tema. Si no conocéis su blog, éste es el enlace. Me gustaba la idea, pero no tenía claro cómo combinar los temas hasta que recordé que tenía esta pasada de plantilla.

I have to admit this idea was from Becca, she is the teammate who coordinates the challenges on the blog and she always gives very good alternatives to play with the theme. If you don't know her blog, this is the link. I liked the idea but I wasn't sure how to mix both topics until I remembered I had this gorgeous stencil.

A Place To Start April 2022

Que nuevo reto  más interesante el de este mes en A Place To Start, hay que usar una llave o un candado y una llave. Aunque no os preocupéis que también tenéis este mes la opción de todo vale.

This month's challenge on A Place To Start is very interesting, it's key it simple, you have to incorporate a key or a lock and a key into your project. Although don't worry because you also have this month the option of anything goes.

A Place To Start August 2021

Ya sé, ya sé, hoy no es el día en el que normalmente publico, pero hay una buena razón para el cambio, ahora soy parte del equipo creativo de A Place To Start, un maravilloso blog donde no hay sólo retos también un montón de tutoriales y consejos.

I know, I know, today is not the day I normally post, but there is a good reason for the change, now I'm part of the design team of A Place To Start, a wonderful blog with challenges, tutorials and tips.

I Am No Bird

Hacía tiempo que no publicaba una página de mi diario artístico, así que he pensado que hoy era un día perfecto para hacerlo. Creo que es uno de los proyectos donde más he usado más plantillas, me encantan todas las capas y texturas que puedes crear con ellas.

I didn't publish a page from my art journal a time ago, so I've thought today was a perfect day to do. I think this is one of the projects where I've used more stencils, I love all the layers and textures you can create with them.

No Beauty Shines

¡Feliz Año!. La verdad es que no sabía cuál de mis proyectos iba a elegir para la primera entrada de enero y aunque tenía varios entre los que escoger cuando vi este tag pensé que era perfecto para empezar el año.

Happy New Year!. The truth is I didn't know which project I was going to choose to be January's first post, and although I have some of them to  pick when I saw this tag I knew it was perfect to begin the year.

Words. Words. Words.

Después de unas cuantas tarjetas en las últimas entradas os enseño una página de mi diario artístico llena de color y contraste. Con cada página me siento más cómoda y eso me ayuda a jugar más con mi material y mis dibujos.

After a few cards in my last posts I show you a page of my art journal full of colour and contrast. I feel more comfortable with every page and that helps me to play more with my stuff and my drawings.

Portrait of a Lady

Ya os he contado otras veces que hay proyectos que planifico y otros que simplemente comienzo y cada ciertos días o semanas continuo, esta página pertenece al segundo grupo, primero empecé a trabajar con mis pinturas acrílicas en el fondo.

I've already told you other times there are projects I plan and others I just start them and every certain days or weeks I carry on, this page belongs to the second group, first I started to work with my acrilycs paints on the background.

Etude des Portraits

Cuando empecé a trabajar en estas páginas no pensé que al final incluiría dos de mis dibujos en ellas, simplemente hice como otras veces, preparar el fondo y jugar con mis plantillas.

When I started to work on these pages I never thought at the end I would include two of my drawings on them, I simply did as other times, to start to prepare the background and to play with my stencils.

I'm Defying the Queen of Insecurities

Hoy os traigo una página muy especial porque es la primera vez que incorporo un dibujo de un retrato a uno de mis proyectos, no es perfecto, pero sabéis qué, no me importa, no quería algo precioso, maravilloso, quería hacer algo que fuera parte de mí.

Today I show you a very special page because is the first time I add a portrait drawing to one of my projects, it's not perfect, but you know what, I don't mind, I didn't want anything beautiful, wonderful, I wanted to do something that was a part of me.
