A Place To Start February 2026

Nuevo mes y nuevo reto en A Place To Start. El tema es pequeñas criaturas así que podéis jugar con un montón de diferentes animales aunque como siempre tenéis la opción de todo vale. Yo he decidido utilizar estas mariposas troqueladas para hacer mi tag.

New month and new challenge on A Place To Start. The theme is small critters and you can play with a lot of different animals although as always you have the anything goes option. I've decided to use these die-cut butterflies to make my tag.

Primero, he añadido textura y color en el fondo con una carpeta de embossing y tintas en tonos rosas y verdes. Después, he troquelado las mariposas, el marco y la banaderola. La flor me había sobrado de otro proyecto. Todo esto lo coloreé esta vez con mis tintas en spray.

Firstly, I've added texture and colour on the background with an embossing folder and pink and green inks. After that, I've cut the butterflies, the frame and the banner. The flower was from another project. All these I coloured it with my spray inks.

Por último, he pegado todo en ambos lados del tag. Creo que es perfecto para el reto que mañana empieza. ¿Qué os parece?.

Finally, I've glued everything on both sides of the tag. I think that is perfect for the challenge that starts tomorrow.

Protect Your Magic

El pasado viernes fui a una de esas mega tiendas que te venden de todo para la casa a muy buen precio porque necesitaba una bandeja para el horno. Esta tienda tiene además una sección de manualidades y encontré un set con hadas a un precio genial y como veis he hecho un tag con uno de los sellos.

Last Friday I went to one of those big shops that sell you everything for your house with a good value for money because I needed an oven tray. This shop also has a craft section and I found a fairy set with a fantastic price and as you see I've made a tag with one of the stamps.

Mañana empieza el primer reto del año de A Place To Start. El tema es arcoíris (muchos colores) o como siempre todo vale. Yo como veis he jugado con la parte del reto de muchos colores y he hecho este tag.

Tomorrow the first challenge of the year starts on A Place To Start. The topic is rainbows (lot of colours) or as always anything goes. As you see I've played with a lot of colours and I've made this tag.

Ya sé que no es el día en el que normalmente publico pero este mes participo como diseñadora invitada en el nuevo reto de Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags gracias a este tag que hice en octubre y que fue elegido como el mejor del mes.

I know today is not the day I normally post but this month I'm guest DT on the new Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags challenge thanks to this tag I made in October and that was chosen as the best shaped tag of the month.
