I hadn't thought in publishing a new post this weekend but I've just finished this page from my art journal and I've said to myself why not?, there's not reason to wait. So here's.
He creado diferentes texturas con mis plantillas, un sello de fondo, pasta de modelar y tintas.
I've created different textures with my stencils, a background stamp, modeling paste and inks.
Las flores las he coloreado con mis ceras pigmentadas usándolas como si fueran acuarelas y para los bichillos he optado por mis lápices.
I've coloured the flowers with my pigment sticks using them as they were watercolours and I've picked my pencils for the little bugs.
As you see is a page full of colour and life and I'm not going to deny it, I've been inspired but these days with this lockdown where you realize that simple things, what is part of our daily routines and we cannot do now is what we have to enjoy and appreciate.
Con esta página participo en los siguientes retos:
I take part with this page in the next challenges:
- Try it on Tuesday: beauty of nature.
- Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: spring mood board.
- Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge Blog: anything goes.
- More than Words: everyday & bugs and birds.
This is beautiful, Maria. Green is the colour of growth and your page is a celebration of beautiful spring newness! I love the textures and the details you've added, but the sentiment is the best. How apt for the unexpected time we're living through. It looks as if, as I am, you're enjoying the shoots and new growth every bit as much as usual - if not more because we have more time to look at it, enjoy it and consider it. Every cloud has a silver lining, lol - we just have to look for it. Definitely a celebration of the beauty of nature.

Chana Malkah
I think the best thing to deal with this situation it's to think we have to enjoy present and life because things can change suddenly in a radical way and that has helped and inspired me to create more and more in these days. María, xx.
