DIY VIII: libreta con encuadernación japonesa

Para acabar el año os traigo una libreta en la que he utilizado material que me había sobrado de otros proyectos, como veis es muy práctica y os puedo decir que la persona que ahora la tiene le gusta mucho.

I show you a notebook I've made with stuff I got from other projects to finish this year, as you see it's very practical and I can tell you the person who has it now likes a lot.

Adventure Awaits You

Si, me he animado a hacer otro tag monocromático, esta vez he elegido el azul. Jugar con un sólo color pero varios tonos puede ser difícil, pero éste no ha sido el caso, es de esas veces que te vas acordando que tienes una blonda, ese sello que todavía no has usado... Y todo surge como si nada.

Yeah, I've made another monochromatic tag, this time I've chosen blue. To play with just one colour but different tones of it can be difficult, but not this time, because I've started to remember I got a doily, a stamp I had never used before... And everything has started to works very well.

I'm Flying Away

Aunque últimamente no os he enseñado nada de mi diario artístico no significa que no esté trabajando en él, tengo unas cuantas páginas acabadas, como ésta llena de texturas y capas.

Although lately I haven't shown you anything of my art journal that doesn't mean I'm not working in it, I have several finished pages, as this one that is full of textures and layers.

Magical Fall

Creo que nunca he dicho que el otoño es mi estación favorita del año, tiene algo especial, mágico, empiezar a hacer frío, empiezan a caer las hojas de los árboles, y con todo eso en la cabeza he hecho este tag.

I think I've never said autumn is my favourite season of the year, it has something special, magical, we have colder days, leaves start to fall, and with all that in my mind I've made this tag.

No me puedo creer que entre que os conté que estaba pensando en hacer un mini álbum y que lo empecé y he acabado han pasado ya dos años.

I cannot believe two years have spent between I told you I was thinking in making a mini album, I started and I've finished.

Para acabar el mes, os traigo la tarjeta de cumpleaños que le he hecho este año al pequeño Íker, que ya tiene tres añitos, esta vez es interactiva, tenía ganas de hacer algo diferente y que además pudiera jugar con ella.

To finish this month, I bring you the birthday card I've made this year for little Íker, who is three years now, this time is interactive, I wanted to make something diferent and he could also play with it.

Sobre y Tarjeta de Cumpleaños

Hoy os traigo un doble proyecto, una tarjeta de cumpleaños con su sobre, los hice para el cumpleaños de mi mejor amiga, cuando acabé la tarjeta sentía que faltaba algo y pensé que un sobre sería perfecto para ella.

Today I show you a double project, a birthday card with its envelope, I made them for my best friend's birthday, when I finished the card I felt I needed something more and then I thought an envelope would be perfect for it.

How is being your summer? Here we're being lucky and until now we have only got two heat waves, so I cannot complain, although I admit I'm being a bit lazy, that is something that I feel every year before I start my holidays, but this morning I've felt inspired and I've made this tag.

Tags Mellizos - Twin Tags

Como os comenté en esta entrada Íker iba a tener una hermanita, que nació el mes pasado y se llama Salor, tanto a ella como a él les compré unos regalitos para celebrar ese día tan especial y les hice unos "tags mellizos".

As I told you in this post Íker was going to have a little sister, who was born the last month and her name is Salor, I bought her and him a little gifts to celebrate that special day and I made a "twin tags".

Si, es cierto, no he sido muy original con el título de la entrada😏, pero es que no se me ocurría nada mejor y la frase que he utilizado esta vez era muy genérica, así que he destacado los tres colores principales de la tarjeta que os traigo hoy el rosa, amarillo y naranja.

Yeah, it's true, I haven't been very original with the tittle of the post 😏, but it didn't come to my mind any better idea and the sentiment I've used this time was very generic, so I've highlighted the three main colours of the card that I bring you today the pink, yellow and orange.

Hello Summertime

Ya llevamos unos cuantos días de verano y creo que tocaba hacer algo inspirada por esta época del año, así que he hecho este tag con esta preciosa sirena, que es uno de los sellos que gané gracias a uno de los retos de Colouring in Scrapland y a su autora María Medel Illustrations.

This Summer started a few days ago and I think it was time to make something inspired by this time of the year, so I've made this tag with this beautiful mermaid, that is one of the stamps I won thanks to one of the Colouring in Scrapland's challenges and her designer María Medel Illustrations.

The Journey is the Destination

Tengo que decir que este tag ha surgido a partir de dos retos y que encima una vez acabado me vale para un tercero, creo que ya he dicho antes que si hago retos es porque no quiero hacer siempre lo mismo, me ayudan a mejorar y aprendo un montón, ahora os explico que es lo que tiene el tag para poder participar en cada uno de ellos.

I have to tell I created this tag thanks to two challenges and after I finished it I saw I could take part in a third one with it, I think I've already said in other posts that if I make these challenges is because I don't always want to make the same things, they help me to improve and I learn a lot of new things, now I explain you what characteristics the tag has to take part in every one of them.

Esta página refleja muy bien una de mis pasiones los libros, me encanta leer y el olor a libro nuevo, si soy de las que todavía leen libros en papel jejeje, así que como os podéis imaginar cuando vi a esta maravillosa dama en la web The Old Desing Shop tenía que usarla en mi diario artístico.

This page shows very well one of my passions books, I love reading and the smell of a new book, yeah! I'm one of these people who still read paper books hehehe, so as you can imagine when I saw this wonderful lady at the website The Old Desing Shop I had to use it in my art journal.

The Fairies Dance

Cuando empecé a trabajar en estas dos páginas no tenía ni idea que acabaría haciendo algo tan colorido y lleno de flores, cuando terminé el fondo me encantaba pero sentía que le faltaba algo, y entonces vi estas maravillosas hadas en la galería de fotos de la British Library y supe que eran lo que necesitaba.

When I started to work in these two pages I didn't think I would make something so colourful and full of flowers, when I finished the background I loved it but I felt it needed something more, and then I saw these wonderful fairies in the gallery of the British Library and I knew they were what I needed.

Birthday Wishes

Bueno no voy a mentir, no tenía ningún cumpleaños a la vista pero tenía ganas ya de estrenar el sello que veis en la foto, no me digáis que no es una auténtica monada, y encima el reto de esta semana de Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge es ¡feliz cumpleaños! así que ya tenía la excusa perfecta.

Well I'm not going to lie, I didn't have any close birthday but I wanted to use for the first time the stamp you see in the pic, don't tell me it's not so cute, and to that you have to add the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is happy birthday!, so I got the perfect excuse.

Creo que esta es una de las veces en las que me cuesta más empezar a escribir la entrada que hacer el proyecto que os presento, y eso que cuando cogí el trozo de cartulina rojo no tenía ni idea de qué iba a hacer, pero poco a poco todo fue tomando forma.

I think this is one of these times where it's easier to make the project than to start to write the post where I show you it, and I have to admit when I picked the piece of red cardboard I didn't have any idea of what I was going to make but with a bit of time everything starting to have sense.

In Full Bloom

Marzo es un mes especial para mí, los días son más largos, hace una temperatura ideal y empiezan a salir las primeras flores, todo esto ha inspirado las páginas de mi diario, como veis están llenas de vida.

March is a special month for me, days are longer, we have a perfect temperature and flowers start to bloom, all these things have inspired the pages of my journal, as you see they are full of life.

A Window to Another Reality

Aunque no lo parezca no he usado ningún filtro en la foto que abre esta entrada, es la luz de la ventana cuando la saqué, sólo he cambiado el tamaño de la imagen pero el efecto que ha creado en los dos tonos principales del fondo me ha encantado, los resalta y destaca lo que yo buscaba crear algo sacado de un sueño.

Although it doesn't seem it I haven't used any filter in the picture that opens this post, it's just the light from my window that there was when I took it, I`ve only resized the image but I love the effect it has created in the two principal tones, it highlights them and focus on what I was trying to create something that was from a dream.

Love from Me to You

Aunque las fotos muestren lo contrario he de decir que no me gusta mucho el rosa, de hecho creo que lo utilizo bastante poco en mis proyectos, así que me retado a mi misma y he decidido usarlo como color principal de mi tag.

Although the pictures show something different I must say I don't like much pink, in fact I think I don't use it much in my projects, so I've challenged myself and I've decided it would be the main colour of my tag.

DIY VII: cambiando el exterior de una agenda

Esta semana os traigo la primera entrada que tenía pensada publicar este año, como veis es un proyecto sencillo pero muy práctico, le he cambiado el aspecto a una agenda, bueno no una cualquiera, la que voy a utilizar este año en el trabajo.

This week I show you the first post I had thought to publish this year, as you see it's a simple project but very practical, I've changed the look to an agenda, well it's not any agenda, it's the one I'm going to use this year at my job.

Admito que tenía pensado publicar otra entrada diferente pero cuando vi el reto que proponían este mes desde el blog de Locas por el Scrap no me he podido resistir, porque tenía las plantillas y los sellos perfectos para él, había que hacer una tarjeta con un fondo geométrico y aquí os la traigo 😉.

I have to say I had thought to publish another different post but when I saw the challenge of this month of Locas por el Scrap blog I couldn't resist, because I got the perfect stencils and stamps for it, we had to make a card with a geometric background and here is 😉.
