A Window to Another Reality

Aunque no lo parezca no he usado ningún filtro en la foto que abre esta entrada, es la luz de la ventana cuando la saqué, sólo he cambiado el tamaño de la imagen pero el efecto que ha creado en los dos tonos principales del fondo me ha encantado, los resalta y destaca lo que yo buscaba crear algo sacado de un sueño.

Although it doesn't seem it I haven't used any filter in the picture that opens this post, it's just the light from my window that there was when I took it, I`ve only resized the image but I love the effect it has created in the two principal tones, it highlights them and focus on what I was trying to create something that was from a dream.

Para crear el fondo he usado pinturas acrílicas con las que primero lo he entintado y después con un sello he hecho contrastes y textura. A continuación colocando un troquel en diferentes posiciones he conseguido las figuras que veis y las he coloreado con los mismos tonos pero esta vez usando unas tintas con efecto metalizado.

I've used acrylic paints to create the background, first of all I've inked it and after that with a stamp I've made constrasts and texture. Then I've got the shapes you see with a die I've placed it in different positions and I`ve coloured them in the same tones but this time with metallic inks.

Por último he dibujado la luna y la ventana, he escrito la frase y la he recortado dándole la forma que veis. Me encanta los efectos que he conseguido con estos colores, la vida que dan a la página, la verdad es que cada vez disfruto más trabajando en mis diarios artísticos.

Finally I've drawn the moon and the window, I've written and cut the sentiment giving it the shape you see. I love the effects I got with these colours, the life they give to this page, the truth is every time I enjoy more working in my art journals.
