Birthday Wishes

Bueno no voy a mentir, no tenía ningún cumpleaños a la vista pero tenía ganas ya de estrenar el sello que veis en la foto, no me digáis que no es una auténtica monada, y encima el reto de esta semana de Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge es ¡feliz cumpleaños! así que ya tenía la excusa perfecta.

Well I'm not going to lie, I didn't have any close birthday but I wanted to use for the first time the stamp you see in the pic, don't tell me it's not so cute, and to that you have to add the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is happy birthday!, so I got the perfect excuse.

Esta vez el color que predomina es el verde en el fondo y en la tarjeta en si, es increíble lo que unos polvos perlados y una tinta verde pueden hacer en un trozo de cartulina kraft, el marrón todavía se ve pero la mezcla de los dos tonos me encanta.

This time the main colour is the green on the background and on the card, it's unbelievable how a pearl powders and a green ink make in a piece of kraft cardboard, you can still see the brown but I love the mixture of both tones.

Para colorear el sello he utilizado mis rotuladores, poco a poco voy consiguiendo crear los degradados, pero todavía tengo que mejorar mucho. Creo que al final he conseguido una tarjeta perfecta para un niño pero también para un adulto, el sello del fondo es más elegante y el contraste que crea con la niñita es genial.

I've picked my markers to colour the stamp, little by little I'm creating gradients, but I still have to improve a lot. I think at the end I've got a perfect card for a kid but also for an adult, the background stamp is very elegant and the contrast with the little girl is great.
