Thinking Of You Friend

El otro día rebuscando entre mis sellos vi estos robots y me dije que tenía que hacer algo con ellos porque hacía mucho tiempo que no los usaba y esta tarjeta es el resultado final.

The other day while I was searching among my stamps I saw these robots and I told myself I had to make something with them because I haven't used them in a long long time and this card is the final result.

Para el fondo he elegido una cartulina gris y este precioso papel con círculos a los que he añadido esa textura con un troquel. Luego, he estampado y coloreado los robots con mis rotuladores.

I've chosen a grey cardboard and this gorgeous paper with circles for the background. I've added that texture in the paper with a die-cut. After that, I've stamped and coloured the robots with my markers.

Como veis he pegado en la parte delantera tres de los robots y en el interior el último, así al abrir te encuentras una pequeña sorpresa que hace aún más especial esta tarjeta.

As you see I've glued on the front part three robots and on the inside the last one. That way when you open it you find a little suprise that makes this card more special.

A Place To Start September 2026

El tema del nuevo reto de A Place To Start de este mes es "relacionado con una canción" o la opción de todo vale. Mi tag está inspirado en una canción y también en el mito del fénix. La canción es Gunning Down The Romance de Savage Garden. La idea de la canción es el desamor y el sentimiento de angustia y soledad ante la pérdida del mismo, aunque yo me he inspirado en las últimas frases que son las que he escrito en el tag y que creo que muestran una aceptación, una adaptación y la idea de no rendirse y que he unido junto con el tema del fénix.

The theme of the new challenge on A Place To Start of this month is related to a song or the option of anything goes. My tag is inspired by a song and for the phoenix myth. The song is Gunning Down The Romance by Savage Garden. The idea of the song is a broken heart and the feeling of distress and loneliness that you feel when you've lost the person you loved, although I've used the last sentences of the song, that are the ones I've written in the tag and I think they show an acceptance, an adaptation and the idea of no surrender and I've linked that with the phoenix idea.

Me encanta jugar con cartulinas kraft porque son muy resistentes y puedo cambiarlas por completo sin tener miedo de que se estropeen. Y por eso la he elegido como base del tag.

I love to play with kraft carboards because they're very resistant and I can change them completely without being afraid that they got ruined. And for that reason I've chosen it as the base of the tag.

A Place To Start August 2026

Estamos en verano, hace calor y esta tarjeta es perfecta para estos días y para el nuevo reto en A Place To Start que es nada de rectángulos. Un tema que me gusta porque así podemos ver tarjetas con otras formas.

We're in summer, it's hot and this card is perfect for these days and the new challenge on A Place To Start that is no rectangles. A theme that I like because that way we can see cards with other shapes.

Las cortas noches de verano con sus lluvias de estrellas me han inspirado para crear esta escena nocturna en un pueblo costero.

The short summer nights with their meteor showers have inspired me to create this nocturnal scene in a coastal village.

El tema del nuevo reto de este mes en A Place To Start es blanco y negro, aunque como siempre os recuerdo tenéis la opción de todo vale. Lo bueno de esta clase de temas es que me ayudan a hacer algo diferente, normalmente no hago proyectos en blanco y negro, y gracias a ello consigo un tag como el que os enseño hoy.

The theme of the new challenge of this month on A Place To Start is black and white, although as always I remind you that you also have the anything goes option. The good thing about these kinds of topics is that they help me to do something different, normally I don't make white and black projects, and thanks to that I get a tag as the one I show you today.

Tarjetas para regalos

Empecé haciendo estas tarjetas sin saber muy bien para que las iba a utilizar. Sólo sabía que quería crear dos tarjetas parecidas pero diferentes y que quería que tuvieran textura.

I started making these cards without knowing the final use of them. I just knew I wanted to create two similar cards but different and that I wanted them to have texture.

Tarjeta de Cumpleaños VII

Como os he comentado en otras entradas me gusta mucho jugar con las dobleces de las tarjetas y así crear algo más diferente e interactivo. Y con esta tarjeta precisamente he hecho eso.

As I told you in other posts I like a lot to play with the folds of the cards and that way to create something different and interactive. And I've precisely done that with this card.

Hoy acaba el mes de mayo y mañana como es el primer lunes del mes comienza un nuevo reto en A Place To Start. El tema es cualquier cosa menos una tarjeta, así que hay muchas opciones para elegir.

Today finishes May and tomorrow as is the first Monday of the month a new challenge starts on A Place To Start. The theme is anything but a card, so there are a lot of options to choose.

Fluttering By (una tarjeta con textura)

Algo que se ve muy bien en la primera foto es que esta tarjeta tiene mucha textura. Es una mini tarjeta de 6 x 10 centímetros, así que quería destacara, aunque fuera pequeña, en otro aspecto y la textura ha sido la clave.

Something you can easily see in the first pic is that this card has a lot of texture. It's a minicard of 6 x 10 centimeters, so I wanted to emphasize another feature and I have chosen the texture for that reason.

Mañana es el primer lunes del mes y por lo tanto hay un nuevo reto en A Place To Start. El tema es pliegues aunque también tenéis la opción de todo vale. Yo como siempre he jugado con el tema y he hecho esta tarjeta tan primaveral.

Tomorrow is the first Monday of the month and therefore there is a new challenge on A Place To Start. The theme is fancy folds although you also have the anything goes option. As always, I've played with the topic and I've made this spring card.

Para la entrada de hoy he decidido publicar algo un poco diferente a mis últimos proyectos, con otra combinación de colores y tema. Una tarjeta de cumpleaños que hice para mi primo hace un tiempo.

For today's post I've decided to publish something a bit different from my last projects, with a different colour combo and theme. A birthday card I made a while ago for my cousin.

Mañana empieza un nuevo reto en A Place To Start y el tema es elegir un color y jugar con diferentes tonos del mismo aunque también tenéis la opción de todo vale. Yo he querido jugar con el azul, que es uno de mis colores favoritos.

Tomorrow a new challenge starts on A Place To Start and the topic is ombre, any one colour with shades of that colour although you also have the anything goes option. I've played with blue, that is one of my favourite colours.

The Birth Of Spring

Hace unos días que empezó la primavera y ya se pueden ver las primeras flores y hojas verdes en los árboles. Esa idea ha inspirado estas páginas de mi diario artístico.

A few days ago springtime started and you can already see the first flowers and green leaves in trees. That idea has inspired these pages of my art journal.

Me encanta jugar con las formas y dobleces de las tarjetas para conseguir algo especial y diferente. Y si encima tienen una sorpresa en el interior como ésta, el resultado final es mejor.

Hoy os traigo un tag totalmente diferente al que publiqué a principio de mes. No hay flores ni mariposas y tiene un estilo más industrial. 

Today I show you a very different tag from the one I posted at the beginning of the month. There aren't flowers or butterflies and it has a more industrial style. 

A Place To Start February 2026

Nuevo mes y nuevo reto en A Place To Start. El tema es pequeñas criaturas así que podéis jugar con un montón de diferentes animales aunque como siempre tenéis la opción de todo vale. Yo he decidido utilizar estas mariposas troqueladas para hacer mi tag.

New month and new challenge on A Place To Start. The theme is small critters and you can play with a lot of different animals although as always you have the anything goes option. I've decided to use these die-cut butterflies to make my tag.

Protect Your Magic

El pasado viernes fui a una de esas mega tiendas que te venden de todo para la casa a muy buen precio porque necesitaba una bandeja para el horno. Esta tienda tiene además una sección de manualidades y encontré un set con hadas a un precio genial y como veis he hecho un tag con uno de los sellos.

Last Friday I went to one of those big shops that sell you everything for your house with a good value for money because I needed an oven tray. This shop also has a craft section and I found a fairy set with a fantastic price and as you see I've made a tag with one of the stamps.
