De compras III: especial Londres segunda parte

Voy a terminar con el especial que le estoy dedicando a Londres, en la primera entrada me centré en una tienda maravillosa Blade Rubber Stamps a la que me encanta ir cuando estoy allí, y hoy voy a terminar por un lado con más sitios e ideas para comprar material para nuestros proyectos y por otro os voy a hablar de otras tiendas que me gustan aunque no compre cositas para el scrap y que creo que os pueden interesar.

I'm going to finish the special posts I'm writing about London, in the first one I focused in an wonderful shop Blade Rubber Stamps that I love to visit when I'm there, and today I'm going to finish with more places and ideas to buy stuff for our proyects and I'm also going to talk about other shops I like although there I don't buy things for scrap and I think you can like.

Lo que siempre hago cuando estoy allí es ir a las tiendas de revistas y periódicos que hay en el aeropuerto o en las estaciones de metro o tren para ver las revistas que tienen, hay muchísima variedad y siempre vienen con regalos, encontré dos que me gustaron mucho, una que estaba centrada en tarjetas que regalaba papeles de BoBunny y dos sellos navideños y otra sobre diferentes manualidades y que regalaba herramientas para doblar y hacer formas con papel. Es una maravilla ver todas las que tienen y más si tenemos en cuenta que este tipo de revistas no son muy comunes en España.

What I always make when I'm there it's to go to shops where they sell magazines and newspapers that are in airports or train or tube stations to see what magazines they have, there are a lot of them and they always have gifts, this time I found two I liked a lot, one focused in cards and that gave Christmas papers and two stamps by BoBunny and other about different crafts that gave tools to score and to make different shapes with paper. It's fantastic to see all the variety they have and more if we think that these kind of magazines aren't very usual here in Spain.

El siguiente sitio al que voy es Paperchase, una cadena de papelerías geniales, ésta fue la tienda en la que compré mis primeras cositas para empezar en el mundo del scrap hace dos años en Edimburgo, tienen unas colecciones preciosas con cuadernos, agendas, washi tape, bolígrafos, además de material para dibujar y pintar, os recomiendo que vayáis a la que hay en Tottenham Court Road, cerca del Museo Británico, tiene varias plantas y es donde tienen todas las colecciones que saca la marca, por toda la ciudad tienen más tiendas pero son más pequeñas, hay una por Covent Garden y cerca de Picadilly Circus otra.

The next place I go is Paperchase, they are great stationery shops, this place was where I bought the first things to start to make my scrap projects two years ago in Edimburg, they have beautiful collections with notebooks, diaries, washi tape, pens and they also have things to draw and colour, I recommend you to go to the shop they have in Tottenham Court Road, near to the Brithish Museum, it has several floors and it's where you will see all the collections they have, in the city they have a lot of shops but they are more little than this one, there is one in Covent Garden and another one close to Picadilly Circus.

Si queréis ir a una tienda centrada en scrap otra alternativa que tenéis pero está ya alejada del centro es Hobbycraft, tienen de todo y a muy buenos precios, este año no he ido pero el año pasado estuve y me hice con toda la colección de lápices de Spectrum Noir gracias a una promoción 2x1 que tenían, ahorré bastante dinero comprándolos allí, tened en cuenta cual os cae mejor en función de la zona donde os alojéis y que va a ser un viaje largo de metro, el mío fue más de 40 minutos.

If you would like to go to another shop focused in scrap there is another alternative but it's far from the center of the city, it's Hobbycraft, they have everything you imagine and with very good prices, this year I haven't gone but the last one I was and I bought all the pencil collection by Spectrum Noir thanks to a 2x1 offer they had, I saved a lot of money buying them there. You should see what it's the shop that is close to your hotel because it's going to be a long tube travel, the last year I spent more than 40 minutes to arrive.

Y empezamos a alejarnos ya del tema del scrap y manualidades, mi siguiente recomendación es Cath Kidston, tienen de todo con los típicos estampados británicos, cremas, lápices, cuadernos, vestidos, etc. Si queréis más estampados originales podéis ir a Liberty, para los que hacéis patchwork seguro que os gusta mucho, tienen telas preciosas.

And now I start to talk about shops that aren't focused in scrap and crafts, my next suggestion is Cath Kidston, they have a lot of different things with the typical british prints as creams, pens, notebooks, dresses, etc. And if you want more original prints you can go to Liberty, for those of you that make patchwork I'm sure you will like a lot, they have beautiful fabrics.

Si sois golosos como yo o viajáis con niños tenéis que ir a Cybercandy, está cerca de la Plaza de Covent Garden, tienen caramelos, gominolas, chocolatinas... Otro sitio que me encanta es Peggy Porschen tienen unos cupcakes y tartas deliciosas, el cupcake Red Velvet es mi favorito, está en el barrio de Chelsea muy cerca de la estación Victoria. Para comer en un sitio diferente y además comprar chocolates, galletas y un montón de cosas más tenéis que ir a  Borough Market, está por la zona de la Tate Modern, y además podréis dar un paseo precioso por la orilla del Támesis. Y para acabar el último día en el aeropuerto también hice unas cuantas compras más en el duty free para terminar las libras y compré más caramelos, no pude resistirme jejeje.

If you are sweet-toothed as me or you travel with kids you should go to Cybercandy, it's near to Covent Garden Piazza, they have candies, gumdrops, chocolate bars.... Another place I love is Peggy Porschen they have a delicious cupcakes and cakes, the Red Velvet cupcake is my favourite one, it's in Chelsea very close to Victoria Station. To eat in a different place and buy chocolate, cookies and more things you should go to Borough Market, it's near the Tate Modern area, and you can walk around Thames Bank, it's beautiful I love that walk. And to finish the last day in the airport I buy a few more things at duty free and I bought more candies, I couldn't resist it hehehehe.
