12 tags of 2015 - November

Otro mes más he hecho el tag que Tim Holtz nos propone en su blog, esta vez el tema es muy otoñal yo he sustituido la calabaza que el hace por unas hojas, ahora que hay tantas por todas las calles es fácil inspirarse.

Another month more I've made the tag that Tim Holtz proposed us in his blog, this time the subject is very autumnal, I have changed the pumpkin he makes for a leaves, now there are a lot of them on streets is easy to inspire with them.

Para empezar con el fondo estampé un sello con Distress Paint, yo he utilizado el tono blanco (Picket Fence), a partir de ahí ha tocado improvisar, tengo otras tintas en spray que tienen un poco de brillo, así que pulvericé un poco  de un tono verde y otro berenjena sobre el tapete de silicona donde trabajo con las tintas y les eché un poco de agua, después pase el tag por encima y conseguí esa primera capa.

To start with the background I stamped a stamp with Distress Paint, I've used the white colour (Picket Fence), after that I have improvised, I have other spray inks that have a bit of shine, so I sprayed a bit in my silicone craft mat where I play with inks and then I added a bit of water, then I rubbed the tag in them and I got that first layer.

Después entinté los bordes y laterales del tag con Distress Walnut Stain y pulvericé un poco con agua, sequé y ahora tocaba dar el toque dorado a los bordes, no tengo ninguna lámina de foil así que había que pensar en una alternativa y me acordé de mis Perfect Pearls y del rotulador de tinta de embossing transparente que tengo, así que cogí el que tengo en tono dorado y empecé a jugar con él y el rotulador, he intentado sacar las fotos para que se aprecie el efecto, no queda tan brillante como con el foil pero le da un toque muy bonito y envejecido.

After that I inked the edges and sides of the tag with Distress Walnut Stain and I sprayed with a bit of water, I dried and now it was the moment of giving the golden touch to the edges, as I don't have any foil sheets I had to think in an alternative and I thought in my Perfect Pearls and my embossing pen, so I used the golden one I have and I started to play with it and the pen, I've tried to take the pics in a way you can see the effect, it's not so bright as it could be with foil but it gives a beautiful and distressed touch.

Y ahora el momento de dibujar las hojas, cogí mis Spectrum Noir y empecé a ver que tonos podía utilizar, como veis he escogido amarillos, rojizos y marrones para colorearlas, y luego utilicé el blender (el rotulador para aclarar los tonos) y empecé a hacer diversos efectos, la verdad es que sólo me dediqué a jugar con él y ver que salía, por ejemplo en la hoja rojiza han quedado unas motitas por toda ella, en la marrón intenté crear más profundidad alrededor de los bordes verdes y en la amarilla en los bordes exteriores. Luego les eché unas gotitas de Distress Ink Black Soot.

And now the moment of drawing the leaves, I used my Spectrum Noir and I thought what colours I could choose, as you see I've picked yellows, reds and browns to colour them, and after that I used the blender to create different effects, the truth is I only played with it to see what happened, for example in the red one there are a little dots on it, in the brown one I tried to give it more depth around the green edges and in the yellow one in the outer edges. After that I added a little drops of Distress Ink Black Soot.

Ya sólo queda pegar todo en el tag, para las letras troquelé en la Big Shot lino adhesivo y lo entinté con Distress Ink Aged Mahogany (uno de mis tonos favoritos), las pegué en el lateral y luego puse las hojas, a las que di un poco de forma, para dar los toques finales añadí dos perlitas y unas gotitas de Liquid Pearls Bisque y Dark Chocolate.

The last steps have been to glue everything on the tag, for the letters I cut in the Big Shot adhesive linen and I inked it with Distress Ink Aged Mahogany (one of my favourite tones), I stuck them in the left side and then I added the leaves, the last touches have been two little pearls and a little drops of Liquid Pearls Bisque and Dark Chocolate.

He intentado sacar todos los efectos en las fotos, a veces es un poco difícil porque tengo una cámara normal pero creo que se puede apreciar bastante bien como he ido haciendo las diferentes capas, me gusta como ha quedado, estoy muy contenta y creo que cada mes voy aprendiendo y mejorando un poquito más. ¿Qué os parece?.

I've tried you could see all the effects in the pics, sometimes it's a bit difficult because I have a normal camera but I think you can see how I've made all the different layers, I like a lot the result, I'm very glad with it and I think every month I'm learning and improving a bit more.
