I started making these cards without knowing the final use of them. I just knew I wanted to create two similar cards but different and that I wanted them to have texture.

I got that texture of each one of the backgrounds with an embossing folder, acrylic paint and embossing powders. As you see, I changed the position of the folder to modify the design of the background.

These die-cuts flowers are from another project and I thought they were perfect for this one. I didn't want to hide the craft cardboard, so I've only used the embossing powders in certain parts.

And to finish, I show one of the cards with a gift I gave a few weeks ago.

I take part with these cards in the next challenges:

  6. What a wonderful set of cards! I love the sun-shaped embossing in the background. The colour you used to emphasize sunshine are just perfect. I also like the branch motif, and how you embellished it with splashes of different colours. In the end, I think your cards are perfect to pair with a present. Thanks for joning the Alphabet challenge.
