A Place To Start June 2025

Este lunes comienza un nuevo reto en A Place To Start y aunque tenéis la opción de todo vale os animo a intentar hacer algo con el tema que es reciclar. Yo lo he hecho y si queréis saber cuáles son mis elementos reciclados tenéis que seguir leyendo la entrada 😉.

This Monday a new challenge starts on A Place To Start and although you have the option anything goes I encourage you to try to make something with the topic that is recycle. I've done it and if you want to know what are the recycled elements you have to go on reading the post😉 . 

Para crear el fondo he estampado unos sellos y después he jugado con varios tonos de tinta. Luego, he rociado con un poco de agua. Las flores troqueladas que he usado me sobraron de otro proyecto. Simplemente les he añadido un poco de textura y brillo con unos polvos de embossing.

To create the background, I've stamped some stamps and I've played with several ink tones. Then, I've sprayed with a bit of water. I've used die-cut flowers that I had from another project. Simply I've added on them a bit of texture and shine with embossing powders.

La arpillera que he usado decoraba un ramo de flores que mi hermano regaló a mi madre y el papel cebolla venía protegiendo un par de zapatos que compré hace unos meses. La arpillera la he usado para decorar.

The burlap I've used decorated a bouquet that my brother gave to my mother and the tissue paper was in the box protecting the shoes I bought a few months ago. The burlap I've used to decorate.

Y con el papel cebolla he elegido la frase que más me gustaba, la he pegado en cartulina blanca, he añadido una capa de gesso transparente y después he usado un poco de tinta azul para darle ese toque de color. Como siempre, os esperamos en A Place To Start.

And I've chosen the sentiment I liked more of the tissue paper, I've glued on a white cardstock and I've added a layer of transparent gesso and after that I've used a bit of blue ink to give that touch of colour. As always, we wait for you on A Place To Start.
