12 tags of 2016 - Agosto

Estamos en un nuevo mes así que toca hacer un nuevo tag, esta vez Tim Holtz en su blog ha mezclado dos técnicas que no conocía y me han gustado mucho, dan unos resultados espectaculares y crean unos fondos muy originales.

We are in a new month so it's time to make a new tag, this time Tim Holtz has mixed two techniques I didn't know and I've liked a lot, they give an amazing results and create a very original backgrounds.

En el fondo he utilizado dos tonos de Distress Stain en vez de uno, Tumbled Glass y Abandoned Coral, una vez que he conseguido la mezcla que quería y he dejado secar he añadido Distress Broken China y he envejecido el tag.

I've used two tones of Distress Stain in the background instead of one, Tumbled Glass and Abandoned Coral, once I've got the mixture I wanted I've let it dry and then I've added Distress Broken China, after that I've distressed the tag.

A la forma troquelada le he dado una capa de Distress Paint Picket Fence, he secado y después he vuelto a pintar con Distress Broken China y además he utilizado unos toques de Vintage Photo, también he utilizado esta tinta para los trocitos de papel que he pegado en los huecos.

I've added a layer of Distress Paint Picket Fence to the die-cut shape, I've dried it and I have painted it again with Distress Broken China and a few touches of Vintage Photo, I've used that ink too for the little pieces of paper I've glued in the empty spaces.

Para terminar he añadido unas florituras troqueladas, la frase, una perlita y dos lentejuelas. Quería resaltar el fondo y por eso creo que no era necesario añadir muchos más elementos.

Finally I've glued a die-cut flourishes, the sentiment, a pearl and two sequins. I wanted to highlight the background and for that reason I think it wasn't necessary to add more elements.

La verdad es que son unas técnicas muy interesantes y muy versátiles, como me han sobrado trocitos de los papeles que he troquelado estoy segura que los voy a utilizar en otros proyectos, así que a lo mejor pronto los veis de nuevo. The truth is these techniques are very interesting and versatile, as I've die-cut more pieces of paper of what I needed I'm sure I'm going to use them in other projects, so maybe soon you see them again. I hope you like the tag, as always you can share your opinion in the comments.
