12 tags of 2016 - Julio

Os traigo mi tag de este mes para el reto del blog de Tim Holtz, esta vez no os voy a comentar las técnicas porque he hecho las mismas que hace él, lo único que he cambiado son los materiales, ahora os sigo contando.

Here you have my tag for the challenge of Tim Holtz's blog, this time I'm not going to talk about the techniques because I've done the same ones he explains, the only thing I've changed is the stuff I use, now I tell a bit more about it.

Esta vez ha sido fácil elegir el tema, con el calor que ha hecho esta semana he estado a base de helados y limonada, esa era la inspiración uno de estos dos elementos, al final me he quedado con la limonada, he estampado un sello de un tarro y lo he coloreado con acuarelas, así practicaba un poco, me encantan lo versátiles que son y lo fácil que es jugar con ellas y crear sombras.

This time it has been easy to choose the main idea for the tag, with the heatwave we have got this week I've eaten and drunk a lot of ice cream and lemonade, and that has been the inspiration one of these two things, at the end I've chosen the lemonade, I've stamped a jar and I've coloured it with watercolors, so I practiced a bit with them, I love all the effects and shadows they create and it's very easy to play with them.

En vez de troquelar el sentimiento he troquelado unos corazones y el fondo lo he pintado con las acuarelas también, para que la cartulina azul no quedase muy sosa la he embosado para darle textura, he añadido una pegatina con la frase y dos lentejuelas, no he adornado mucho el tag porque quería que destacase el sello y las acuarelas, me ha gustado mucho como ha quedado y quería que fueran el punto de atención principal.

Instead of die-cutting the sentiment I've die-cut a hearts, I've coloured the background with watercolours too, I've embossed the blue cardstock to give it texture, I've added a sticker with the sentiment and two sequins, I haven't decorated much the tag because I wanted to highlight the stamp and the watercolours, I wanted they were the spotlight.

Espero que os guste, yo he disfrutado mucho haciéndolo y además he vuelto a utilizar las acuarelas, que siempre le dan un toque especial a los proyectos.

I hope you like it, I've enjoyed a lot making it and I have also used the watercolours again, they always give to the projects a special touch.
