Más páginas de mi diario II

Hace un rato he terminado dos nuevas páginas de mi diario, estoy haciéndolas sin prisas, si no sé como seguir lo dejo para otro día y poco a poco me voy soltando un poco más. Además aprovecho para participar por primera vez con mi diario en un reto, el #retoscrapasion de la tienda y blog de @scrapbookpasion, este mes es sobre plantillas que es uno de los materiales que más me gusta utilizar, a continuación os explico lo que he hecho.

A little while ago I finished two new pages of my art journal, I'm creating them with no hurries, if I don't know how to go on I stop and other day I start again, so I'm feeling more comfortable working with them every time I do it. And for first time I'm going to make a challenge with them, one that has suggested the web site of Scrapbookpasion, this month is about stencils that are one of the things I like more to use, now I tell you what I've made.

Lo primero que hice fue pegar papel cebolla de color azul sobre las dos páginas, sobre los extremos pegué un poco más para crear un borde. Después le di una capa de gesso blanco diluido en agua y empecé a cambiar de color el borde, para eso utilicé unos gelatos en tonos dorado y marrón. En el interior también quisé cambiar un poco el color del fondo, era demasiado claro, así que con unos gelatos azules y verde conseguí el color que quería. Por último estampé un sello en diferentes zonas.

The first thing I made was to glue blue tissue paper on the pages, in the edges I glued a bit more of the tissue paper to make a contrast with the rest of the background. After that I added a bit of white gesso thinned with water and I changed the colour of the border, for that I painted it with a golden and brown gelatos. I also wanted to change a bit the colour of the rest of the background because it was so much light, so with a blue and green gelatos I got the tone I wanted. Finally I stamped a stamp in different places.

A continuación utilicé la primera plantilla, es de Tim Holtz y se llama Typo, hice una capa con pasta de textura a la que añadí una gotita de Dylusions Tangerine Dream, estas tintas tienen unos colores muy vivos y no me pegaba mucho, así que de nuevo hice uso de mis gelatos (lo admito me encantan jejejeej), un poco de dorado y marrón apagó un poco ese naranja tan vivo y le dió el tono que buscaba. Luego hice unos simples garabatos en forma de ramas con mis bolígrafos.

Then I used the first stencil, it's called Typo by Tim Holtz, I made a layer with texture paste, I had added it a drop of Dylusions Tangerine Dream but as these inks have a very rich colours I didn't like the effect with the rest of the pages, so again I played with my gelatos (yeah!! I admit it I love them heheheh), a bit of golden and brown colours gave it the tone I was searching for. After that I added a simple doodles with branch shape with my pens.

Después cogí otra plantilla, Floral Petites de Prima Marketing, con las que añadí esas flores a las ramas, utilicé una pintura violeta metálica para añadir un poco más de brillo. Para darle el toque final utilicé el troquel de My Favourite Things Formal Flourish un para de veces, como me gustó la forma que dejo en la cartulina la utilicé de plantilla para hacer ese fondo para que destacara el troquel un poco más, para el fondo utilicé de nuevo la pintura metálica anterior y en la forma troquelada utilicé tintas con brillo de tonos anaranjados y morados. Por último añadí la frase con mis bolígrafos.

After that I chose another stencil, Floral Petites by Prima Marketing, with it I added those little flowers in the branches, I painted them with violet metallic paint to give it a bit more of shine. For the final touch I used the Formal Flourish die by My Favourite Things two times, as I liked a lot the shape it created in the cardstock I thought it would be a great stencil and so the dies would emphasized more, I painted that background with the violet metallic paint again and for the die shapes I sprayed them with ink with shine in orange and purple tones. And finally I wrote the sentiment with my pens.

Como veis voy cambiando mucho las cosas que voy haciendo de una página a otra, quiero experimentar y aprender y no tengo miedo a utilizar diferentes estilos, cuando empecé estas páginas no me imaginaba que las acabaría así, la verdad es que me gustan mucho. Gracias como siempre por leerme.

As you see I'm changing a lot the things I make in the different pages, I want to try and learn and I'm not afraid of using different styles, I have to admit when I started these pages I didn't imagine I would finish them in this way, the truth is I like them a lot. Thanks as always for reading me.
