Tarjeta para celebrar una jubilación

Hacía tiempo que no hacía una tarjeta, es un poco irónico porque eso es lo que más hacía cuando empecé con este hobby pero con el tiempo y según vas aprendiendo te van entrando ganas de hacer algo diferente, variar es bueno y también no olvidar los inicios. Así que esta semana tocaba hacer una tarjeta para una profesora mía que se ha jubilado, ahora os cuento como la he hecho.

The last time I made a card was a few time ago, it's a bit ironic because that was what I made more when I started this hobby but with time and while you're learning new things you start to want to try something different, to make different things is good but it's also not to forget beginnings. So this week it was time to do a card for a teacher who has retired, now I tell you how I've made it.

Lo primero que hice fue con una plantilla pulverizar unas tintas en spray con brillo en tonos granate y amarillo dorado, cuando se mezclaron crearon unos degradados que me encantan, después miré entre mis sellos y vi estos que simulan los sellos de correos, así que ya me hice una idea de lo quería para esta primera parte, simular una carta, los estampé en un tono verde oscuro y después les di un poco de brillo con unos polvitos de Perfect Pearls, siento que no lo podáis apreciar mucho en las fotos. Para crear las líneas de la dirección añadí unos garabatos, ya sabéis que me gustan mucho, para rematar un poco de washi tape y cuerda en una esquina. A continuación os muestro el interior.

The first thing I made was to spray with inks with shine a stencil, the tones are maroon and yellow golden, when they mixed they created a gradient effect I love, after that I looked for a stamps in my collections and I saw these ones that recreate a mail stamps, so with them it come to my mind the idea of what I wanted to do in this first part, to reproduce a letter, I stamped them in a dark green and after that I painted on them with Perfect Pearls, I'm sorry you cannot see it well in the pics. To make the lines of the address I added a doodles, you know I like them a lot, to finish this part I put a bit of washi tape and cord in a corner.

En el interior pegué una franja de papel, un poco más de cordel y tres lentejuelas. Luego añadí un poco de gesso en una cartulina blanca y cuando se secó cogí mis gelatos, utilicé unos tonos verdes, amarillos y granates, mezclé con agua todos los tonos salvo el granate que lo dejé sólo para los bordes, como veis he ido jugando con los mismos tonos en casi todo el proyecto, quería algo uniforme. Para la frase he escogido unos sellos de la Colección Inolvidable de Lora Bailora, el color de la tinta que utilicé para estampar fue verde oscuro.

In the inside I glued a piece of paper, a bit more of cord and three sequins. After that I added a bit of gesso in a white card and when it dried I used my gelatos, the tones were green, yellow and maroon, I mixed all them with water except the maroon that I've only used it for the edges, as you see I've been playing with the same colours all the time, I wanted something uniform. For the sentiment I've chosen a stamp by Lora Bailora, the collection is called Inolvidable and it means in English you're are unforgettable, the colour of the the ink to stamp was dark green.
