Más páginas de mi diario I

Poco a poco voy creando más páginas en mi diario, estoy experimentando con diferentes técnicas y también sigo utilizando otras que me encantan para mejorar en ellas. Admito que no tenía nada planificado, empecé el fondo con varios colores de pintura acrílica y a partir de ahí fui añadiendo cositas. A continuación os cuento más.

I'm creating more pages in my art journal step by step, I'm playing with different techniques and I also go on using other ones I love to improve how I make them. I admit I haven't thought in anything, I started the background with different colours of acrylic paint and after that I added new little things. Now I tell you more.

Con tres plantillas y los mismos colores del fondo hice estos contrastes, para darle textura añadí una pasta que crea un efecto de arena, cuando se secó no sabía como continuar, en ese momento pensaba que no quedaba bien la pasta, así que lo dejé y unos días después empecer a dibujar unos garabatos con mis bolis negro y blanco, no quise recargar más el fondo y lo siguiente que hice fue la frase.

With three stencils and the same colours of the background I made this contrasts, to give it a bit of texture I added a paste that makes a sand effect, when it dried I didn't know what to do, I thought it didn't fit the paste, so I stopped and a few days after I started to draw a doodles with my black and white pens, after that I didn't want to overdecorate it anymore so I made the sentiment.

Como dije al principio no tenía nada pensado y fui haciendo todo poco a poco, la frase me vino sola cuando volví a ponerme a trabajar en las páginas, el efecto arena no me convencía pero después de añadir los garabatos empezó a gustarme y esa fue la base para escribir "Mistakes are an opportunity", que significa en español "Los errores son una oportunidad". Dibujé las palabras en papel y di color a las letras con dos lápices muy parecidos a dos tonos que ya había empleado antes.

As I said at the beginning I hadn't thought in anything and I was making everything step by step, the sentiment come to my mind when I started to work again in my pages, I wasn't sure the sand effect was going to work but after I drew the doodles I liked it, and that was what inspired to write "Mistakes are an opportunity". I drew the words in paper and I colour the letters with two pencils very similar to two of the tones I had already used.

A veces es bueno parar, no frustrarse e intentarlo más tarde, es algo que voy haciendo más a menudo, hace un tiempo hubiera echado unas capas de gesso y hubiera empezado de nuevo, una de las razones por las que empecé a hacer scrap fue para aprender a ser más paciente y creo que lo estoy consiguiendo. Bueno, ¿qué os parece?.

Sometimes is good to stop, not to frustrate and try it a bit more later, that is something that I'm starting to make more often, a few time ago I had added gesso and I had started again, one of the reasons I started to make scrapbooking was to learn to be more patient and I think I'm making it.
