12 tags of 2015 - Diciembre

Ya se está acabando el año y toca hacer el último tag de 2015 que Tim Holtz ha propuesto en su blog, espero que os guste mi versión.

The year is almost finished and it's time to make the last tag that Tim Holtz has proposed in his blog, I hope you like my version.

Para el fondo he elegido lino y una plantilla con puntos de diferentes tamaños que he entintado con Distress Aged Mahogany (ha quedado un poco más claro el color que cuando se entinta en papel). Los bordes están entintados con Distress Walnut Stain. Para la guirnalda he utilizado dos cartulinas verdes, las he envejecido y para conseguir más tonos diferentes algunas hojas las he entintado con Distress Walnut Stain.

For the background I've chosen linen and a stencil with dots of different sizes that I've inked with Distress Ageg Mahogany (the tone is a bit clearer than when you ink it on paper). The Edges are inked with Distress Walnut Stain. For the wreath I've used two different green cardstocks, I've distressed them and to get more tones I've inked some leaves with Distress Walnut Stain.

Para decorarla he entintado un trozo de cartulina blanca con Distress Barn Door y le he echado unos Perfect Pearls dorados, es la técnica que aprendí en el blog de Jennifer Mcguire y utilicé para la tarjeta de esta entrada, y he troquelado unas estrellas, como veis tienen ese rojo intenso tan típico y un punto dorado que les da el toque original. He añadido una nota musical con un fondo rojizo y dorado, que he conseguido con Distress Paint Barn Door y Distress Stain Tarnished Brass y lijando un poco. Para acabar de adornar todos estos elementos además de echar gotas de Distress White Fence he utilizado un poco de Stickles Frosted Lace para dar volumen y recrear copos de nieve. Y por último he añadido la palabra.

To decorate it I've inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Barn Door and I've added a golden Perfect Pearls, it's the technique I learn in the Jennifer Mcguire's blog and I used to make this card, and I've die-cut a stars, as you see they have that deep red so typical in this time and a little golden layer that gives them an original touch. I've added a musical note with a red and golden background, I've made it with Distress Paint Barn Door and Distress Stain Tarnished Brass and I've sanded them. To finish with the decorations apart of the drops of Distress White Fence I've used a bit of Stickles Frosted Lace to give volume and to recreate snowflakes. And finally I've added the sentiment.

Bueno ¿qué os parece?, esta vez no me he alejado mucho del tag original y me gusta mucho como ha quedado. Cuando empecé en julio no pensé que sería capaz de hacer todos los meses este reto, ahora estoy deseando ver cuáles son las nuevas ideas que Tim Holtz nos va a mostrar en su blog.

Well what do you think?, this time I've made something very similar to the original tag and I like it a lot. When I started in July I never thought I would be able of making all the months this challenge, I'm very glad and I cannot wait to see what are the new ideas Tim Holtz is going to show us in his blog.
