DYI II: Libreta de Post It

Si hay algo que me encanta del scrap es que con un poco de imaginación y tiempo puedes hacer que unos simples post it aburridos se conviertan en una libreta preciosa. Es una de las razones por la que ésta es una de mis aficiones favoritas, cambiar lo aburrido en algo interesante.

If there is something I love about scrap is that with a bit of imagination and time you can make that a simple boring post it change into a beautiful notebook. That is one of the reasons that make this is one of my favourite hobbies, to change something boring in something interesting.

Una cartulina amarillo pollo transformándose en algo especial / A yellow card turning into something special

Para hacer la libreta he utilizado una cartulina de 9x18cm ó 3^3/4x7^1/8 pulgadas, he marcado las dobleces del centro en la tabla de plegar en 8,5 y 9,5cm ó 3^3/8 y 3^3/4 pulgadas, luego con una plantilla y tintas en tonos rojo oscuro, marrón y naranja he creado el fondo.

To make the notebook I have used a card of 9x18cm or 3^3/4x7^1/8 inches, and then I've scored at 8,5 and 9,5cm or 3^3/8 and 3^3/4 inches in the middle, after that I've made the background with a stencil and dark red, brown and orange inks.

A continuación he cogido dos trozos de papel de 5 cm ó 2 pulgadas y los he entintando con tinta amarilla y los he envejecido, para terminar he añadido una pluma como adorno.

For the next step I've used two paper pieces of 5 cm or 2 inches and I've inked them with yellow ink, I've disstressed them and to finish I've added a feather.

Luego ya he puesto los post it, como veis me gusta dejar un poco de borde, que no quede ajustado. Con muy pocos materiales he creado una libreta diferente y original. Algo con un poco más vida que te dan ganas de utilizar. Espero que os guste.

And then I've added the posts it, as you see I like to have a little edge. With no much stuff I've made a different and original notebook. Something with a bit more of life that makes you want to use it. I hope you like it.
