Walking on Sunshine

La primavera ya está aquí (bueno en mi región como sigamos así el verano llega dentro de nada jejeje) y los días se alargan, apetece pasear y disfrutar del buen tiempo y eso me ha inspirado para hacer estas dos páginas de mi diario artítisco.

Springtime is already here (well in my region with these temperatures summer is going to start very very soon hehehe) so days are longer, you want to walk and enjoy good weather and that has inspired me to make this two pages of my art journal.

Para crear el fondo utilicé las Distress Inks Mustard Seed y Aged Mahonamy, con una plantilla pulvericé un poco de agua y así hice los puntos más claros que veis y luego con un bolígrafo hice unos gabaratos dentro de ellos, a continuación estampé el sello para saber donde iba a ir colocado cuando hubiera terminado el fondo.

To create the background I used Mustard Seed and Aged Mahonamy Distress Inks, I sprayed a bit of water on a stencil  and so I created the lighter points you see and with a pen I drew a doodles inside of them, then I stamped the stamp to know where it was going to be located once I had finished the background.

Después dibujé el borde del camino y con otra plantilla y Distress Paint Fired Brick hice los baldosines.  Troquelé esos trocitos de papel y los pegué en diferentes zonas de las páginas y escribí la frase e hice los banderines, todavía tengo que mejorar la técnica pero para ser los primeros creo que no han quedado mal.

After that I drew the edge of the path and I made the tiles with another stencil and Fired Brick Distress Paint. I die-cut those pieces of paper and I glued them in different places of the pages and I wrote the sentiment and I made the flags, I still have to improve the technique but I think they're OK to be the first ones.

Era momento de hacer el sol de la esquina con mis bolígrafos y ya para terminar pinté con un tono rojizo alguno de los huecos de las formas troqueladas y con un pincel hice las gotitas que salpican las hojas. Por último pegué el sello, lo hice con unas almohadillas de foam para darle volumen, siento que en las fotos no se pueda apreciar.

It was the moment to make the sun of the corner with my pens and to finish I painted with a red tone some of the gaps of the die-cuts and with a paint brush I created the drops that splash the pages. Finally I glued the stamp, I made it with adhesive foam to give it a bit of volume, I'm sorry you cannot see it well in the pics.

Y así terminé este atardecer primaveral, como veis no he hecho nada complicado, la técnica del ghosting con las plantillas me encanta, crea unos fondos muy originales. Espero que os gusten como siempre en los comentarios podéis decirme lo que opináis.

And so I finished this spring twilight, as you see I haven't made anything complicated, I love the ghosting technique with stencils, it creates a very original backgrounds. I hope you like them as always in the comments you can tell me your opinions.
