Through the looking glass

Hoy he estado jugando con mis tintas, pinturas y otros elementos simplemente para ver las diferencias entre un fondo blanco y otro negro en mi diario artítisco, tenía ganas de experimentar y eso es lo que he hecho.

Today  I've been playing with my inks, paints and other elements just to see the differences between a white backgroud and another one black in my art journal, I wanted to try out and that's what I've made.

Como veis he ido jugando con diferentes pinturas tengo unas acrílicas que cambian de color en función de si es un fondo claro u oscuro, también he usado acuarelas y pigmentos perlados, como algunos tonos son muy claros en la parte blanca se ven perfectamente pero en la negra añaden brillo y un color muy difuminado, aunque eso sirve para que destaque el sello para fondos que estampé con mi Versamark en ese lado, en la siguiente imagen se puede apreciar mejor.

As you see I've playing with different paints I have an acrylic ones that change of colour if you paint in a clear or in a dark background, I've also used watercolours and pearl pigments, as some tones are very clear in the white side you can see them perfectly but in the black one they add shine and a soften colour, although that helps to highlight the background stamp I added with my Versamark in that side, in the next image you can see it better.

Después he creado diferentes capas con un poco de papel y una blonda que rocié con tintas en spray y pegué dos formas troqueladas que me habían sobrado de otro proyecto. También dibujé los globos y por último añadí la frase, creo que le iba bien en español es "a través del espejo".

After that I've made different layers with a bit of paper and a doily where I sprayed some inks and I glued two die-cuts that I didn't use in another project. I also drawed the balloons and finally I added the sentence I think is perfect for these two pages.

Ahora sé como reaccionan ciertos productos en función del fondo que tengas, y lo mejor de todo es que con ello he creado unos efectos que me han gustado mucho y que creo que en un futuro pueden ser interesantes para otras páginas que pueda hacer. ¿Qué os parece mi experimento?.

Now I know how some products react according to the background you have, and the best of all this thing is with that I've created an effects I like a lot and I think in a future they can be very interesting for other pages I can make. What do you think of my experiment?.
