A Place To Start January 2026

Mañana empieza el primer reto del año de A Place To Start. El tema es arcoíris (muchos colores) o como siempre todo vale. Yo como veis he jugado con la parte del reto de muchos colores y he hecho este tag.

Tomorrow the first challenge of the year starts on A Place To Start. The topic is rainbows (lot of colours) or as always anything goes. As you see I've played with a lot of colours and I've made this tag.

Primero, he querido crear contraste en la base del tag jugando con dos tonos de cartulina que he troquelado para hacer la forma. También, he añadido un poco de textura con una carpeta de embossing y luego he pegado una capa de papel.

Firstly, I've wanted to create contrast playing with two different tones of cardboard in the base of the tag that I've cut to make the shape. Also, I've added a bit of texture with an embossing folder and then I've glued a paper layer.

Después, he estampado el gatito, lo he coloreado con mis rotuladores y lo he recortado. He añadido otra capa de papel donde he estampado la frase y con unos polvos de embossing metálicos he conseguido ese efecto. Para acabar, he pegado todo y he decorado it con el corazón y la cinta.

After that, I've stamped the kitty, I've coloured it with my markers and I've cut it. I've added another paper layer where I've stamped the sentiment and I've got that effect with metallic embossing powders. Finally, I've glued everything and I've decorated it with a heart and the ribbon.

Hoy cambiamos de estación, es el primer día de invierno y me pareció una buena idea publicar este tag con esta escena que es tan típica de estos días.

Ya sé que no es el día en el que normalmente publico pero este mes participo como diseñadora invitada en el nuevo reto de Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags gracias a este tag que hice en octubre y que fue elegido como el mejor del mes.

I know today is not the day I normally post but this month I'm guest DT on the new Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags challenge thanks to this tag I made in October and that was chosen as the best shaped tag of the month.
